With over 22 years of academic, research, and administrative experience, Dr. Sunil Kumar is a Professor and Area Chair of General Management at Alliance University. He holds a Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) and a PhD in Economics, as well as multiple certifications from prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and CEIBS. He is passionate about the transformational power of education and strives to foster critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills in his students.Dr. Kumar is also an active and accomplished researcher, having published several papers and articles in national and international journals of repute. He has presented his research at conferences in the USA, Singapore, and UAE, and has developed two copyrighted tools that enable the identification of occupational interest and competency mapping for students and industry professionals. He serves as a board member, editor, reviewer, and advisor for various institutions, organizations, and journals across the globe. He is also the recipient of several awards and honors, such as the Professor of the Year 2019 and the Certificate of Excellence from the Faculty Branding Award.
