1. Leading the Health Vertical at Swades Foundation involves implementing a unique '4E' strategy: engage, empower, execute, and exit. 2. Implementing various health programs (Vision Care Program, Pediatric Cardiac Care, Hearing Program, Anaemia Program, Swades Mitra Program, NP-NCD, Tribal Residential School Program, Mental Health and Village Health camp) through a tailored approach with each program's specific goals and target beneficiaries to implement its different health initiatives in the 7 blocks of the Raigad district and 4 blocks of Nashik of Maharashtra.3. To develop the strategic route plan to ensure universal health access to public and private healthcare services for rural communities in Maharashtra.4. Annual Budget preparation for health program implementation.5. Leading a team of 25 people to implement a health program with clear communication, and strategic management skills.6. To build a close network with private healthcare providers, and secondary, and tertiary healthcare facilities to successfully implement a health program.

▪ Led the Svetana Project across 23 States/UTs, which is playing a crucial role in the Elimination of Mother-Child Transmission of HIV/Syphilis under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) Phase V supported by The Global Fund. ▪ Led a team of 415 staff at the state and national level of different cadres. ▪ Closely involved in Program Design, logical framework, Budget Management, Metrics and Performance Indicators, Monitoring and Evaluation and Compliance with Donor Requirements ▪ Worked with public and private health sector stakeholders, including donors, organizational management, and beneficiaries at the state level. ▪ Supported at the national level for developing training curriculum in coordination with NACO, TWG and Technical Consultants. ▪ Conducted mentoring visits to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting guidance, and strengthen implementation at the field level.

Mentoring of technical managers and ensuring program quality in terms ofcompliance to national guidelines on HIV testing and ART for HIV+ pregnantwomen and HIV exposed infants. Strengthen the technical capacity of over 200 project staff (across 22 states and twoUTs) in technical aspects of PPTCT such as anti-retroviral therapy regimens and prophylaxis, side-effects and their management, early infant diagnosis, infant andyoung child feeding, regimen interruptions, ART adherence counseling, etc. Networking and interface with regional and national Chapters of ProfessionalMedical Associations (PMA) to advocate for the involvement of theirmembers/private health facilities in the PPTCT program.

Capacity building of project staff (in Maharashtra and Goa) in technical aspects ofPPTCT such as anti-retroviral therapy regimens and prophylaxis, side-effects andtheir management, early infant diagnosis, infant and young child feeding, regimeninterruptions, ART adherence counseling, etc. Participate in regional and national meetings of Professional Medical Associations(PMA) to advocate for the involvement of members in the PPTCT program. Offer technical support to private health facilities on PPTCT service delivery.

Technical support in the Planning, Implementation, Supervision, and Monitoring ofPPTCT services in the state. Strengthening of PPTCT Information Management for quality record keeping ofdata, follow up on data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting as well asfeedback to the relevant facilities and functionaries. Support in supply chain management related to PPTCT including timelyforecasting, planning, procurements, monitoring the supply use at health facilities,and reporting on stock-outs on a timely basis. Coordination and linkages with Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child andAdolescent Health Services (RMNCH+A), Medical Colleges and Private MedicalSector including NGOs, etc. to ensure utilization of the existing resources forimproving coverage of PPTCT services and community demand/ care-seeking. Support in the development and implementation of the comprehensive Advocacy,Communication & Social Mobilization (ASCM) strategy for PPTCT servicedelivery, service utilization, and its linkages with all concerned stakeholdersincluding community networks, outreach workers, NGOs, etc.

 Planning, scaling up, monitoring, and supervision of the implementation of ICTCand PPTCT Programme up to Primary Health Centre and Private Health Institutionsin Maharashtra state. Preparation of Annual Action Plan for Basic Service Division (BSD) of MSACS,reporting to NACO about the Process Indicators of BSD. Advocacy, Communication, and Monitoring of the National AIDS ControlProgramme at the district level through District Program Officers. Training of Standalone ICTC counselors through the Saksham program andANM/GNM of PHCs through the Indian Nursing Council. Forecasting of the HIV testing kits, consumables, ARV prophylaxis, and monitoringof the supply of these commodities from national to state to the district level. PPTCT Option B+ training at State, Regional, and District level for Medical andParamedical staff of the state. Ensure close coordination between the Basic Services Division and Care, Support& Treatment Division at the state and district level. Establish close liaison with State RCH officers and other key stakeholders in NHM. Establish close liaison with state-level office bearers of professional organizationslike FOGSI, IAP, IMA, etc. for a systematic involvement of private nursing homes.
