I began my professional career as a special education teacher. During this time I volunteered at a nursing home and created a Volunteer Grandparent Program for those residents who missed their families who were far away. Continuing my professional educational career obtaining my doctoral degree in leadership and policy I began leading a school. I opened up two new programs to assist students in graduating. Continuing my educational career I began my role as a director of Special Education. Many of my students had serious conditions that needed specialized care and families asked me to help them navigate the healthcare system in their search for the correct healthcare I was asked to help the parents of the disabled for assistance in navigating the healthcare system for their children. Learning more about the medical field and helping more people as a patient advocate educating and guiding them., I became a resource for many community members. In 2011 I opened up my LLC for Patient Advocacy and completed my Doctorate Degree continuing the dual career I worked as a patient advocate for a hospital From this volunteer opportunity and also assisted my students and their families navigate the medical world and their rights in the educational arena, I opened my own LLC for Patient Advocacy and have been assisting Patients and families with many needs.Become a principal of schools in general education as well as Schools for autism. Completed my Doctorate from Loyola University and assisted districts with coaching and mentoring and leading a team to develop new strategies to work with students with behavioral and emotional challenges to learn about themselves and their choices among many positive outcomes.Public speaking to over 200 public entities on dementia and Alzheimer's and the "Grey area before dementia and general knowledge to alert Seniors on safety and proactive health and lifestyle choices.
