About Dr Tarmala Caple

I’m a Psychologist experienced in assessing and treating a wide range of clinical and forensic issues. As a former police officer and police psychologist, a large component of my practice is providing evidenced based therapy and wellbeing services to police, emergency first responders, military, veterans and healthcare professionals. Prevention and recovery from stress, burnout, moral injury and PTSD are my areas of particular areas of interest. I have an endorsement in Clinical & Forensic Psychology and I am an accredited EMDR practitioner. My mission as a psychologist is to provide a holistic approach to support mental health and wellbeing so people can thrive not just manage symptoms. I also provide supervision to clinicians working in mental health or wellbeing roles in police agencies or those new to working with Veterans. As an endorsed Forensic Psychologist, I also provide supervision for mental health clinicians on forensic issues.
