Dr. Terrence Autry lives with passion for serving God and His people. He serves as Founder and Lead Pastor of Christ Community in Richardson TX, which he has led for 24+ years (https:/ccrichardson.org). He also is active in his community through Christ Community's non-profit 501(c)(3) affiliates: Let’s Elevate, Inc., dedicated to empowering underserved children and youth through STEM education, educational scholarships, and leadership training, and RISE UP! Counseling Center. He serves on the Richardson Police Department Advisory Board, a community liaison body that advises the Chief of Police on staff training, policy, and other policing mechanisms for the Richardson community. Moreover, he serves as Adjunct Professor at Southern Bible Institute and College in Dallas, TX. Terrence Autry graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology(Th.M.), California State University at Dominguez Hills with an M.B.A., and the Univeristy of Alabama with a B..S. in Business Administration. He is the author of three books: The Flourishing Marriage: How to Create a Healthy Climate for Your Marriage, The Flourishing Marriage Discussion Guide, and What Your Father Should Have Told You: Wise Words for Today’s Woman and is the President and Principal of Terrence Autry Ministries, LLC.Terrence has been married to his best friend in life, Lisa, for 30+ years. They have two young adult sons, Terrence, II and Daniel. A native of Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Autry loves all things basketball and is a die-hard Lakers fan.

Serve as Adjunct Professor - Church History

The first Executive Assistant Pastor under Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III, Senior Pastor, of 5,000+ member congregation at that time. Gave oversight to overall administration of church and assisted in leading worship services; preaching; teaching; Deacons & Trustees Board meetings; counseling of members and non-members; performing weddings; and, administrating funerals and burials, in line with the vision and direction of the Senior Pastor.Directly managed 15 member staff in line with the direction of the Senior Pastor. Provided direction and evaluation of church staff according to church policy and procedures. Gave general oversight, policies, and procedures for 40+ ministries. Administered the church budget process. Responsible for all youth ministry activities including youth worship services. Developed Crossroads ministry, Rites of Passage programs, and the Teenage Tonight fellowship. Coordinated Creative Youth Rallies with community-based ministries in which attendance ranged from 500 -1000+ youth.Conducted weekly Wednesday evening Bible study (average attendance: 150+ adults). Developed New Member orientation curriculum, Christian Education Institute, and the Family Life Enrichment Week Conference, averaging 450+ members in attendance, annually.
