The Chief Learning Officer provides leadership and intelligence to navigate the complex human capital functions to include Orientation and Onboarding, Instructional Support, Leadership Development, Coaching, Mentoring, competency modeling, skill gap closure, training strategy, learning management systems, assessment and evaluation, career pathways and employee engagement to grow and actualize the FEMA workforce.Serves as the Office of the Chief Learning Officer (OCLO) representative on various inter-agency boards, councils, and committees within the Department of Homeland Security and Training Community. Key decision maker in curriculum management, development, and accreditation processes. Trained Course Managers on ADDIE model for Instructional Systems Design. Maintained knowledge of emerging technologies, standards, requirements and programs affecting OCLO. Established relationships and networks throughout the Training, Education and Professional Community with OCLO customer base. Responsible for the oversight of the Agencies Onboarding and Orientation processes and Instructor Branch. Overseas Agencies leadership and development training.
