I have spent many years in the Field of Education. It is definitely my heart and passion. Throughout my years I have spent much time improving the quality of education in Title I schools as well as other schools throughout the state of Florida. I have participated on the review committee for the Florida Standards as well as BEST Standards. I have been an Instructional literacy coach for one of the largest school districts in Florida where I have had a huge impact on teacher growth and student achievement. All of my experiences and accolades have prepared me for this new journey that I am embarking on as an Elementary Assistant Principal. Although I am exiting the classroom on a new journey, I am STILL and will forever be a teacher- I love getting into the classroom and teaching.
