  BIOGRAPHYDr. Rasheed career as a graphic designer begin in the early eighteens, working at publishing company in Chicago. He later worked for the following Chicago advertising agencies: Burrell Advertising, Vince Cullers Advertising, Leo Burnett and J Walter Thompson Advertising.In the mid eighteens Dr. Rasheed opened Rasheed Design, Inc., in Chicago. He serviced client needs in graphic design, package design, photo-editing and exhibit design. Clients were: Quaker Oats, Burrell Advertising, Mercy Hospital, McDonald's, Vince Cullers Advertising, 20th Century Fox, The Museum of Science and Industry/Chicago, Adler Planetarium, Citibank, and J Walter Thompson Advertising. He operated Rasheed Design, Inc. with a staff of four for 8 years.In 1990 Rasheed closed Rasheed Design, Inc. and became a partner in a limited partnership with Young and Rubicam Advertising / New York. The communication group was called Brooks, Robinson & Rasheed, Inc., which operated in downtown Chicago. Rasheed was Vice President and Design Director. BR&R created intergraded marketing communication programs for the consumer market. The client base was: Baxter Health Care, Quaker Oats, Museum of Science and Industry/Chicago, Sara Lee, The Regal Theater and Kraft General Foods. Rasheed was approached in 1993 by Leo Burnett Advertising agency to set up a graphic studio in their 35 W. Wacker Street building in downtown Chicago. Rasheed’s group, N2 Design, Inc., staff of four people provided three years of graphic services for Leo Burnett clients such as: McDonald's, Sony, Commonwealth Edison, United Airlines and Quaker Oats. Dr. Rasheed has also taught design and art in higher education for over 20 years. His experience as a design professor was realized at the following Chicago area institutions: Northern Illinois University, Columbia College, Kennedy-King College and North Central College. Dr. Rasheed was also a tenured professor at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
