Accomplishments:After a larger Eurofins Genomics restructuring the R&D group was reorganized and extended into three teams: R&D, Validation and Analytics, and Process Engineering which report to the Head of R&D. These three teams consist of 16 employees. A strategic kickoff was organized to form a market development focus and data driven organization with a winning can-do culture. Based on the X-Matrix approach, a strategic three-year plan was developed, and key initiative projects defined to achieve the TTI’s (target to improve). Accomplishments:Establishing and structuring a continuously growing R&D group with an open minded and supportive mentality with assigned key projects. New high-resolution analytical devices were implemented and validated in the production floor and an inhouse built oligonucleotide synthesizer was implemented/validated (ISO13485). Accomplishments:The postdoctoral stay in Iceland was funded by a research grant from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Until now 11 peer-reviewed articles and 2 patent applications were submitted.
