Dr. Kemp is an assistant professor at Argosy University Online; he also teaches occasionally at the on-ground campus in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was senior associate faculty University of Phoenix, and adjunct professor at Webster University, Utah and Online. He was Director/Dean of the College of Business, Western Governors University and senior HR Director for ATK (Thiokol), an aerospace company. Dr. Kemp was lead faculty in the development of the MPA (Master of Public Administration) at the University of Utah and the MPA Director for six years. He is a nationally certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR) management and has additional certifications in Problem Solving-Decision Making, Myers-Briggs, DiSC, FIRO-B, DDI Supervisory Training, Achieve Global (Zenger-Miller) and Lominger Leadership Development and Collaborative Organizational Design (COD). He has an earned doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from the University of Utah as well as his bachelors (Cum Laude; Phi Kappa Phi) and masters degrees. His degree majors are public management, organizational social psychology, human resources, political science, sociology, and leadership. He has additional academic work in HR Management, UCLA, and Ethics and Human Resource Executive Portfolio online at Harvard Business School and the Society for Human Resource Management.
