As a Project Manager within the Padre Dam Municipal Water Department, I have led project teams to outstanding community accomplishments. Collaborating alongside city, county, and state agencies to bring new services and infrastructure. I manage projects with the utmost fiscal responsibility and have been recognized by the California Municipal Finance Officers for excellence in capital budgeting.With 26 years of dynamic leadership in the public sector, I understand the importance of cross-organizational innovation and collaboration. Utilizing a servant leadership style, I grow highly effective teams and communities through involvement in events, projects, and merriments. I have been honored to lead challenging projects through strategic innovation plans within a public agency. I received recognition for my work and was marked with the Customer Service for the Innovative in Software award for excellence in field deployment.As an appointed planning board official by the County of San Diego, I have helped oversee and provide advisory recommendations to the County Board of Supervisors. In addition, I was nominated as a member of the East County Community Service Area Committee, which has helped me grow closer to our constituents and develop a sense of public needs.Driven by my passion for continuing education, I recently completed my Educational Doctorate at Pepperdine University, focusing on collaborative leadership practices.
