A graduate; Bachelor of Statistics Degree (B. Stat) from Makerere University, a MBA, a MPHIL and a Doctor of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management (MsM). He published a thesis on Promotion of Employment Oriented Skills Development in Uganda for the MBA and on Investment Promotion and Facilitation and New investments in Uganda, for the DBA.Took professional courses by the World Bank in leadership and Management, consultancies for private sector clients, development partners and public-sector clients, in Strategic Planning, Organizational development and is an Associate of the High Performance Organizations Center for Africa. He lectured to MBA students at ESAMI in Africa, in Strategic Planning and Operations Management in Zimbabwe and in Tanzania. A member of the faculty at Strathmore University. He supervises students undertaking MBA at the MsM Kuwait and co-supervises students on the DBA at the Swiss School of Management. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda He is the Country Manager for Armour Energy an Australian Oil and Gas exploration company that was licensed for the Kanywataba License Area in Uganda. He managed the bid process and negotiated the Production Sharing Agreement. He recruited and trained staff and procured various contractors to implement the work program of the company. He handles all Government relations and all compliance as required by the regulator in Uganda. A Board Member of Citibank in Uganda and facilitates investments to set up in Uganda; experienced in agriculture, oil and gas, shipping and other sectors. At the UIA he was deputy and later Ag. CEO. He traveled widely to attract specific investments to Uganda. As Senior Economist at the Civil Aviation Authority, he participated in world tourism expos to promote Uganda's tourism and air traffic to the Entebbe International Airport.With experience in both public and private sector set ups, for over three decades, he has valuable contacts and knowledge of the different investment environments and processes in the East African region. He has experience in senior management with multi nationals such as DHL and MAERSK, and with development agencies, such as GIZ. A National Consultant for Skills Development in Uganda working for the GIZ program on Oil and Gas. A member of the Presidential Investors’ Round Table (PIRT), a platform that advises Government of Uganda on the investment climate for Oil and Gas and other sectors. The members of this body are appointed by the President of Uganda and coordinated by the Prime Minister.
