About myself:After almost becoming a professional soccer player, I ended up studying computer science at the University of Oldenburg followed by a PHD in the area of formal methods and model checking. These technologies still play a very important role in the products of our companies, and - despite having also some administrative tasks :-) - I still enjoy the technical discussions with our team about concepts and product visions. During all these years I also liked very much to travel around the globe, both for private and business reasons, having the chance to meet many different types of people and to learn much about (and respect) other cultures.About our company:When I joined the company in 2001, we were a small team of 4 colleagues and we started with an ambitious goal: To take complex and powerful mathematical verification and test methods out of their academic hiding place, and make them available for real-life model-based software development projects. We succeeded in our attempt. Today we have more than 170 employees world-wide with offices in Germany, France, Romania, China, Japan and the US. Our software products are used by most of the major car manufactures and suppliers across the globe. As a software tool provider, we naturally do not own a lot of things (except for some computers). The value and success of our company is created by our excellent employees.
