In my current role, as Managing Director & CFO for Skaylink GmbH, I am co-leading the integration of its seven companies to develop a unified and coherent offering in enterprise cloud services with the ambition to become a market leader in German-speaking Europe and beyond. As well as overseeing all aspects of the finance function, I am also contributing to strategy, governance frameworks, integration, standardization and company culture. In the previous decade, as Group CFO for Barkawi Holding GmbH, I was central to a period of expansion that saw annual income increase five-fold. I acted as lead on a €100M divestment and negotiated multiple fundraisings and secondaries for 30 transactions across the capital structure that enabled to drive both organic and inorganic growth. As acting CFO for portfolio companies, I was guiding boards on efficiency and clarity in financial processes, as well as in key decisions on strategy that have delivered turnaround and growth.
