A passionate academic and engineer, I achieved a significant academic milestone in by completing my doctoral studies at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in Patiala. My educational journey began earlier, culminating in a master's degree from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, in 2012, which laid a strong foundation for my engineering and research pursuits.Throughout my academic and professional career, I've actively contributed to the dynamic field of engineering and technology. I take pride in having filed seven patents, reflecting my innovative mindset and dedication to advancing knowledge in my specialized area. Additionally, my research has led to the publication of several papers in SCI (Science Citation Index) journals, showcasing my ability to contribute meaningfully to scholarly discussions.Engagement in national and international conferences, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and seminars has been integral to my academic journey, expanding my horizons and keeping me abreast of the latest developments in engineering and technology.My commitment to quality and excellence is underscored by my certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008, reflecting my unwavering dedication to upholding high standards in all aspects of my work.With over a decade of professional experience, including 7 years as an Assistant Professor and 4 and half years as a Research Associate on a CSIR-based project, I've had the privilege of merging teaching and research roles. These experiences have allowed me to nurture the next generation of engineers while contributing to cutting-edge research initiatives.Currently, I serve as an Associate Dean Research, Associate Professor and Head of the Mechanical & Civil Engineering departments at Chandigarh Engineering College, where I shoulder leadership responsibilities, oversee academic programs, and guide students on their educational journey.Moreover, I am honored to be a Member of the University Development Committee at Guru Nanak Dev Global University in Dallas, Texas, United States.
