Serving TVET Sector in Punjab Pakistan for the last 21 years; first as team member and now as team leader since 2011. Completing Masters in English Literature and then MBA Marketing, started career as MT in a major textile group in Lahore and then joined a PET bottle manufacturing company as Marketing Executive. Found an opportunity to serve in Public Sector Organization, TEVTA, in 2003 and since then working on various assignments like HRM, Research and Development, Apprenticeship Training, Placement and Career Counseling, Skilled Labour Market Information System, development of Skills and Operations and Curriculum for various vocational courses, Public Private Partnership, Cooperative Vocational Training and coordinating with international donor agencies like GIZ, JICA and ILO. Specialty is Apprenticeship Training as my core responsibility is implementation and regulation of Apprenticeship Scheme in various industrial units in Punjab, Pakistan. As an expert on the subject, have published research articles in international journals and has always tried to revamp the system to promote the scheme for the welfare of the poor and the industry. Recently, I drafted Apprenticeship Act which was promulgated in 2021 replacing the age-old statue i.e. Apprenticeship Ordinance 1962.
