Developed a new strategy for the determination of the transition temperature between two enantiotropic polymorph phases, based on the symmetry change of the single crystal. 3. Designed and crystallized a new 3-dimensional metal-organic framework (MOF) with dual functionalities of solid-state emission and the magnetic activity, by finding the optimal conditions to combine the new terthiophene-imidazole moieties with linear Mn3 nodes.

Based on commercially available products, formulated new cheaper emulsion-based flowback enhancers for fracturing fluid as new intellectual properties of the company, with the proof of their surface tension reductions and emulsion sizes in the fracturing fluid.2. Evaluated and improved formulas by running emulsion-break tests and water displacement tests in the sand column pack for crude oil or gas, in achieving faster oil/gas flow and the higher fluid recovery compared to commercially available products.
