Responsibilities include:• Instructing students, developing program syllabi, goals, and objectives• evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives• ensuring student learning outcomes are attained and properly recorded• preparing and maintaining all required documentation and administrative reports• maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by attending staff development training, workshops, seminars and conferences• ensuring safety and security requirements are met in the classroom area• meeting with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of studentsI also teach Move-On-When Ready Dual-enrollment courses, and Telepresence enhanced Distant Learning Courses at other CGTC sites.Develop, and Teach Blend and Hybrid Psychology courses for Higher Education.

Plan, and implement curriculum and educational courses for students within the psychology program. Teach class content to students so that learning occurs, skills development, and to motivate students to learn, and achieve their educational objectives.

I provided Mental Health management, supervision, and consultation with interdisciplinary mental health and medical teams in providing comprehensive mental/medical health care services to include clients with developmental disabilities providing internal and external services, and advocacy. I directed, organized, planned, and provided group and individual therapy, and provided administrative, consultative, and supervisory functions to mental health, medical, and supportive staff. I performed clinical work under professional supervision including the diagnosis, and evaluation of patients. I administered psychological examinations, analyzed and interpreted the results after a mental health evaluation, and discussed findings with the appropriate staff. I developed appropriate treatment plans for clients. I conducted TELE-Psychiatry sessions with psychiatrists from/to various facilities As Unit Manager and Mental Health Director I was responsible for maintaining high-quality mental health services starting by reviewing mental health evaluations, budgeting, and maintaining top teamwork with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, security staff and the facility’s administration. Provided information to supervisors, fellow workers, and subordinates. The information was exchanged face-to-face, in writing, or via telephone/electronic transfer. Successful at supervising and managing staff, and mental health professionals implementing the MANDT system in de-escalating conflict, and difficult situations.
