As the Chief Executive Officer of The National Diversity Collaborative, Inc., I lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business sector. With over 20 years of experience in business strategy, development, and research, I have successfully launched and managed multiple projects and partnerships that promote and support diverse and inclusive leadership, culture, and innovation. Some of our recent accomplishments include securing a large grant from a major foundation, publishing a groundbreaking book What Leaders Believe and hosting a series of online events and workshops that engaged and empowered thousands of business leaders and professionals from various backgrounds and industries. My core competencies include strategic vision, a scholar/practitioner approach, evidence based interventions, stakeholder engagement, organizational development, and data-driven decision making. I hold a Doctor of Education degree from Fielding Graduate University, where I focused on business, management, marketing, and related support services. My mission is to leverage my expertise and network to create positive and lasting change in the business world and beyond. I am always eager to learn from and collaborate with others who share my values and goals of fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive society. Two accomplishments I value the most are being the lead designer of the Doctor of Executive Leadership degree program, which is currently being offered at the University of Charleston; and the lead in the creation of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Program (DEI&A) offered in partnership with Fielding Graduate University.
