About Wu Sun
I am a climate scientist and ecologist working to understand how the biosphere responds to and regulates climate. At the Carnegie Institution's Department of Global Ecology on the Stanford campus, my research aims to better understand the flow of carbon into and out of ecosystems at regional to global scales, help deliver accurate climate projections, and support emerging nature-based climate solutions. With experience in publishing peer-reviewed papers, writing grant proposals, leading research projects, teaching, and mentoring, I am passionate about using my knowledge and skills to tackle grand challenges posed by climate change.
