Drug product formulation is at the core of Particle Sciences. Industry-wide, delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) has taken center stage along with the API's themselves. Focused on new drug delivery systems are now the go-to approach for both NCE commercialization and the refinement and re-purposing of existing APIs – Now this is where I come in, I am a Director level – Formulation & Drug Development who provide chemistry drug discovery insights and objective assessment(s) to various stakeholders including colleagues.I possess broad experience in assessing of molecules identified from divergent small molecule screening campaigns with an ability to design and oversee execution of rational triage strategies to deliver tractable chemical leads with the discovery teams.I have successfully delivered game-changing insight, experiential knowledge, and cultural influence founded on quick-progression of experience within 3 companies, various expatriate assignments, and several product filings with US FDA.I am adept at ensuring timely completion of new product development activities, such as: pre-formulation; developing stable and bioequivalent formulations; developing manufacturing processes for registration batches; overseeing all registration batch manufacturing; and authoring, reviewing and approving technical documents such as protocols, batch records, specifications and development reports.I take up the responsibility and authority for matters pertaining to maintaining quality, accuracy and quantity of work; giving advice, guidance and direction; dealing with routine problems; developing detailed internal work methods; monitoring and appraising performance of reporting staff while overseeing and collaborating with external partners involved with formulation development or manufacturing.
