Senior manager with 12 years’ experience in designing and managing multi-faceted socio-economic development programs in the emergency and transitional processes of Western Balkans and Kosovo. Successfully implemented programs funded by Dutch Government, German BMZ, UNHCR, the European Union, ADA, Norwegian MFA and many others. Also extensive experience liaising with international development institutions, local government structures, municipal assemblies, minority communities and national government ministries to reduce poverty and build sustainable peace among ethnic communities in Kosovo.The latest post was the Program Director for CARE's country portfolio in Kosovo and Macedonia managing more than 20 staff and subcontractors to implement around $3 million annually on initiatives to build local government and NGO capacity through diverse projects and components such as: advocacy, municipal capacity building in minority integration, institutional partnership and NGO capacity building in the area of democratic governance, education an economic development as well as gender equality and women empowerment.
