Ich bin Dragan Rapic, Inhaber des Restaurants „roots“ in Basel, das ich 2017 eröffnet habe. Das Team von Küchenchef Pascal Steffen kreiert innovative Gerichte, die das Gemüse in den Mittelpunkt stellen, wobei Fleisch und Fisch zur krönenden Beilage werden. Für unsere Küche sind wir aktuell mit 18 GaultMillau-Punkten und zwei Michelin-Sternen ausgezeichnet. Unser Ziel ist es, die Gäste auf eine kulinarische Reise mitzunehmen, die von Handwerkskunst und Genuss geprägt ist und ihnen die Vielfalt und Qualität der regionalen Produkte näherbringt.Neben meiner Leidenschaft für die Gastronomie bin ich auch ein begeisterter Sportler und Sportmanager. Ich habe einen Executive MBA und ein Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sports Management von der Universität St. Gallen, wo ich mich mit den verschiedenen Aspekten des Sportbusiness auseinandersetzte. Von 2012 bis 2014 war ich Sportchef beim Grasshopper Club Zürich, wo ich massgeblich zum Gewinn des Schweizer Cups, zu den beiden Vize-Meisterschaften und zur Verbesserung der sportlichen und finanziellen Leistung des Vereins beitrug.
