This goal was fulfilled by formatting marketing campaigns with aligned content to attract new members and local news. During my internship, I received a fresh look into non profit organizations, and the demand for a basic resource; learning a new language as a Dominican immigrant woman in the U.S. My main roles included improving the accessibility of the website by curating blogs, surveys, and interactive, easy to navigate content. I maintained engagement with non-English speaking members who were interested in school applications, programs and support systems. I also developed compelling social media content to increase organic growth which resulted in 100 new followers within the first month while managing the DLC Facebook page.
