- Design the optical systems for different types of lights for Special OEM manufacturers within automotive industry, lamps such as: signal lamps, license plate lamps, interior lights, etc- Define the proper lightsources within automotive lights regarding luminous flux, color definition, CRI or color temperature, either this are LED's or bulbs- Customer meetings and presentations regarding the light performance, legal or specific requirements - Technical feasibility meetings with suppliers such as: tools, lightsources, coatings, etc- Technical presentations of the optical concepts during projects milestones- Troubleshooting during photometric measurements in case of FOT's parts- Homologation process during qualification phase or within product lifetime due to COP requirements- Teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration

Team Leader of the projection optical-team responsible for related work-packages in case of head-up-display units within User Experience BA.

Team Manager of the optics development and type approval teams within Hella SOE design department located in city of Timisoara, Romania. The team consist optics designers and homologation specialists for automotive lamps. Mainly my job is to track in or out tasks within the team, either we are talking about new tasks, to distribute this in the team depending by each person workload or to make sure that at the end all this tasks are closed according with requests from each project time planing. I'm also conducting design reviews with colleagues from optical design in order to ensure that the projects are on path and solutions that we have offered are the most efficient according with requests for quality, cost and time that each project is demanding to us. I take care by new people which are hired in this team, by providing them all needed skills and informations, so that after some time they are able to develop reliable solutions.

Design lens and/or reflector optical systems in CATIA-HELIOS environment; simulations of this new generated geometries models with different HELIOS modules to determine luminous intensity, illumination or luminance for a wide range of aftermarket lamps: signal lamps(single or multifunction lamps) or interior lamps! During the first of tool parts, i perform also photometrical measurements on Goniometer device for checking the results of the real parts with the results achieved during the development process!
