My role handles client reporting, escalated client requests, and communicating solutions. I identify trends in client needs to improve the client experience of the Discretionary Advice Platform (DAP).

My objective as a Specialty Consultant is to deliver exceptional client service and drive growth through; understanding client needs, positioning appropriate solutions such as Vanguard's advice and consolidation services, and moving clients forward in their Vanguard journey. Also, to be independent, solutions driven, and skillfully able to communicate Vanguard's value proposition.

My objective as a Compliance Analyst Intern for the Office of the General Counsel was to implement Vanguard's processes related to tracking, coordinating, and fulfilling licensing and registration requirements. I collected materials required for licensing submissions and renewal and ensured that licensing and registration was handled within established timeframes. I regularly reviewed qualifications, role requirements, and filings to resolve gaps and ensure compliance. I oversaw maintenance of Vanguard's licensing and registration database. I also regularly reviewed crew status against licensing and registration requirements and sent reminder notices to crew.

My objective as a Flagship Assigned Representative was to serve as a primary point of contact for an assigned client base for clients with a minimum of one million dollars invested in Vanguard products. I developed strong relationships with my clients and business partners during my time in this role. My goal was to address clients' personal investment needs and be their gateway to all the services Vanguard has to offer. I used available tools and resources to go over their portfolios and uncover any risks, gaps, and potential solutions to their investment needs. I resolved and followed up on complex client issues, processed transactions, and coordinated with internal Vanguard departments as needed. I established relationships with business partners across Vanguard to assist clients with their needs and solved problems. My role included proactive outreach to clients as well as being reactive to incoming calls and emails. I made necessary and focused advice outreach to establish and maintain strong relationships within my base. If necessary, I tagged certain clients "Top Clients" to accommodate their needs on a longer term basis. I always met deadlines, and was mindful of my Flagship dashboard. I was selected to assist on team projects such as increasing call answer rate. Another team project was to ensure that my team would reply to clients' feedback surveys in a timely manner if the score was less than 9 out of 10. After taking on this role, my team metric for closed-loop feedback on our dashboard improved and exceeded the department goal. I served in various departmental projects and initiatives as well such as; Flagship Diversity Advancement Committee, Flagship Client Experience, Flagship Project One Sandbox, and Flagship Transforming Direct. I was also a mentee member of the Vanguard Black Professional Network.

My objective as a Small Business Associate was to service clients that were looking to establish or maintain small business plans with Vanguard. Such plans include; SEP IRAs, Simple IRAs, and 403(b)7 accounts. I performed transactions as needed. I also showed clients how to establish and maintain such accounts on Small Business Online (vanguard.com). I briefly served part-time on the Small Business Services Hotline to assist other Small Business Associates solve client issues.
