I have been taking photos since I recieved my first camera for my 12th birthday.Being a bit of a technogeek I dove headfirst into the digital realm an have never looked back.I started shooting professionally ten years ago using a bedroom in my home as a studio.I am at present still rebuilding my life and world around me due to the loss of, well everything in Hurricane Katrina. When I am finished rebuilding my entire house will be a studio with a bedroom.In the meantime I shoot where and when I can, but I am still shooting.I also have 18 years refining experience. All 18 years were served with Murphy Oil at the Meraux Refinery. I started as a Shift Breaker in the Gas Concentration Unit, became qualified on the HF Alkylation Unit, with qualification on the Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (Cat Cracker) after that. I then trained and qualified as Console Operater and finally Chief Operator of the entire area. I "Worked Up" in the capacity as Shift Foreman which is the entry level Company Supervisory Possition. This consisted of filling in for vacancies due to vacation or illness.I was then asked to be part of the building and commissioning team of a new hydrocracking unit. I was the Chief Outside Operator coordinating with as many as 500 contract employees at the peak construction phase. Primarily having their jobs ready to work saftely and with the well being of these contractors the top priority. Of course reporting to my supervisors daily and sometimes hourly was also part of my duties. I saw that possition through to the end, getting the new unit up and running for it's first two years and through it's first scheduled shutdown for catalyst change out.Specialties: Creating and Capturing beauty.
