From a young age, I was drawn to service and leadership—a passion that led me to join the Portuguese Military Academy at just 19. Those seven formative years instilled in me the values of discipline, resilience, and the importance of leading by example. It was during this period that I developed a deep commitment to health and well-being, guiding my decision to pursue a career in medicine.In 2009, I completed my Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine, stepping into my role as a military doctor with the National Republican Guard. There, I honed my skills not just in medicine but in team leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making under pressure. These experiences shaped my ability to work in complex and dynamic environments, reinforcing my passion for Rehabilitation Medicine.By 2016, my path led me to become a Specialist Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Central. For four years, I worked alongside a dedicated team, striving to restore patients' mobility and improve their quality of life. This experience, combined with the support and inspiration of my partner—an accomplished military visionary—inspired me to establish Grupo Saúde Sul, a network of clinics dedicated to delivering high-quality physical rehabilitation services. As the founder and leader, I guide a team of passionate professionals who share my vision for a patient-centered and multidisciplinary approach to care.My continuous pursuit of knowledge has led me to earn multiple postgraduate qualifications, including Military Medicine, Social Medicine, Post-Traumatic Injury Assessment, and Sports Medicine. In 2022, I further expanded my expertise with a Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Interventions. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge once again by pursuing a Master’s degree in Managing Digital Transformation in the Healthcare Sector. My goal is to integrate technology and innovation to transform our approach to rehabilitation, ensuring we provide the most effective and efficient care for the hundreds of patients we serve each day.At Grupo Saúde Sul, our mission is not just to treat but to transform.
