I was the band director and strength and conditioning coach for the Young Men's College Prep Academy for the 2021-2022 school year in Houston Texas. I worked to grow a band program which had shrunk during the pandemic, as well as enhance the athletic program at the school by offering a full time weight training program for the students at the school interested.

Big Note Music is a band instrument repair company using mobile repair technicians dispatched to local schools and universities to complete repairs on site. I was responsible for daily operations of a multi-state band instrument repair company, as well as interfacing directly with the owners of the company to set company direction. I supervised a total of 10 entry level and experienced technicians who have individual routes in both Georgia and North Carolina. During my time at Big Note, I negotiated contracts with schools, districts and universities for ongoing maintenance and critical repairs. While doing this, I increased sales to schools through marketing and improvement in the customer experience. I also marketed instrument rentals to students and band directors and increased the rental sales at the company by 40%. I improved operational profits by optimizing routes which resulted in reduced fleet maintenance costs and lower operating expenses. I also implemented inventory and parts tracking systems company-wide to improve profitability.
