2018-2019 I had ownership of the Growater Farm. During that year I qualified for agricultural tax exemptions based upon the dollar amount of how much I made off of produce. After a year of farming while also being a full-time student at Brevard College I decided it was best for me to focus on my education. I moved away from the farm in 2019 and I've grown in a thousand other ways since. However, this childhood opportunity has given me a solid foundation.Planted, cultivated, harvested, marketed and delivered a wide variety of vegetables year round for local restaurants, co-ops and tailgate markets. With an intense focus on providing our mountain community with fresh, local, beautiful and great tasting produce within 24-48 hours of its harvest. All of our produce was grown in the mineral rich loamy clays of the majestic and peaceful Sugarloaf Mountain. Located in Henderson County, NC amidst Apple Country and right next to Chimney Rock State Park.

During my time here I provided the employer with five other employees who were friends that had a hand in growing the produce that we were selling them.
