Redesigned and rewrote Fidelity’s Healthcare platform into a Client-Server architecture. This entailed:-Creating an Angular 8 front-end application and a Java+Spring backend producing APIs-Exposing/creating new Microservice APIs with security implementations (OAUTH/JWT) and creating/maintaining their Swagger configurations. -Building/deploying these applications as Docker containers.Worked on implementing Fidelity's solution to Annual Nondiscrimination Testing as defined by 'The Employee Retirement Income Security Act'.Work included:- Building the structure of a large-scale Java web application using the MVC design pattern and implementing Spring MVC.- Consuming data from multiple REST web services, and processing them in the above application.- Processing user's testing results, including creating a JQuery-based dynamic 90-question questionnaire that is tailored to each user's data. Also, formatting this data to approved DOL (Department of Labor) formats.- Built out a file uploading process with JQuery and Ajax and performed thorough validations on user's uploaded data.- High focus on security, due to the sensitive fields that user's provide. Implemented checks and safeguards as outlined by OWASP Secure Coding Practices.

Worked on implementing Custom Funds Administration where Fidelity's managed companies can log in and see Custom Funds of clients. This included:- Consuming encrypted responses through multiple SOAP webservices- Retrieving/displaying many types of reports through a Java webapp, then processing them and serving them to .jsps that displayed the reports with Javascript and/or Dojo.- Extreme focus on security (due to sensitive nature of reports) included/created guards against XSS and CSRF.- Gained internal security level of 'Funds Knowledgeable' due to sensitive data.

Placed in Fidelity's LEAP program. LEAP is "Fidelity's state of the art development program designed to equip recent grads to become best in class technologists." Training included:- Hands-on experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including design, development, and deployment.- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong Java, Javascript, JQuery, and Object-Oriented programming concepts. After LEAP, I worked on upgrading Fidelity's legacy systems:- Updated (and helped create) multiple large-scale applications to Spring MVC- Updated legacy applications from Java 1.4 to Java 7.
