Responsible for the strategic and creative direction of the Journal of General Management, the academic management journal published by The Braybrooke Press (est. 1970).Roles have included: selection of academic articles for publishing; editing, proof-reading and preparing the journal for publication; management of accounts, budgets and financial reporting; recruitment and management of a team of over 20 people; developing the journal to include literary academic reviews and expansion of the business.

Research, analysis and reporting on the activities of the OECD - one of the world's largest think tanks on economic and development policy; translation of texts, documents, and dossiers; editing, writing and proof-reading of speeches, dossiers and texts; networking and liaising between different departments, committees and organisations of the OECD.

The Legal Assistance Centre is a public interest law firm specialising in human rights cases. Its broad goal is to foster a human rights culture in Namibia.Roles included: development of an advocacy and communications strategy for the LAC; design and delivery of training for NGO's throughout Namiba around advocacy and communications; undertaking research on male involvement in Community and Home-Based Care in Namibia, and co-authoring the subsequent article; developing communications strategies for NGO's in Namibia and assisting in the installation and development of those strategies such as web-based technology; management of budgets, financial reporting and applying for funding; networking and liaising between different health organisations; supporting the design and delivery of international VSO conferences. Achievements include: Creation of a comic to communicate to community health volunteers information about their rights: published and translated into four languages by VSO.Publication of the co-authored article, 'They Have That Heart: Male Involvement in Community and Home-Based Care,' July 2012Trained over 300 NGO workers in advocacy and communications to enable them to voice their opinions and create a human-rights based culture in Namibia: tangible results seen from the process, with groups lobbying government on issues ranging from domestic violence to HIV/AIDS.Lobbied the Namibian government directly on behalf of Namibian Home-Based Care volunteers, resulting in government tabling a motion to discuss better implementation of the policies.
