With over 25 years of experience in mental health and wellbeing services, I have had the privilege of working with people across various ages and settings, including NHS, private sector health services, and educational environments. My extensive background equips me with a deep reservoir of professional expertise, encompassing a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive analytic therapy, brief psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive therapies, and systemic family constellations. Additionally, I draw from depth psychology, ecopsychology, and somatic therapy to inform my integrative approach, which encompasses psychological, phenomenological, and creative dimensions—engaging the body, mind, heart, and soul.I specialize in therapeutic work with individuals, groups, and systems, focusing on the healing of deep-rooted trauma and the promotion of wellbeing. In addition to my clinical work, my professional journey includes roles as a researcher, doctoral thesis examiner, and author of multiple articles, book chapters, and a published book. I am currently developing a new book on The ReEmergence Process, a therapeutic framework I created for women navigating their perimenopausal years that encompasses a blend of psychotherapeutic, embodied, and creative practices.I have founded and led psychology organizations, including the Networking Community of Psychologists in Independent Practice (NCPIP) and The Psychology Partnership, fostering collaboration and innovation in mental health services. My strategic work extends to key professional committees, where I have held leadership roles such as Chair of the BABCP North-West branch and advisor to Frontline19. I also provide training, consultation, and clinical supervision to professionals and organizations, sharing my expertise and supporting the growth of the field.
