In 2005 he founded first Private DNA Testing Company Bio AxisDNA Research Centre (P) Ltd in Hyderabad, India with an US Collaborator. Hehas vast experience of training 1000+ Crime investigation officers and helped750+ Criminal and non-criminal cases to reach justice by offering analyticalservices in his laboratory. His group also works extensively on GeneticPredisposition risk studies of cancers and has been helping many cancer patientsfrom 2012 to fight and win the battle against cancer. He is senior member of IEEE and has been a very active IEEE Volunteerat Section, Council, Region, Technical Societies of Computational Intelligence, Engineering in Medicine and Biology and at IEEE MGA levels including member of IEEE MGA Nominations and Appointments committee, IEEE MGA Strategic Planning Committee, IEEE SDEA, IEEE Corporate engagement committee and others. He has driven number of IEEE Conferences, Conference leadershipprograms, Entrepreneurship development workshops, Innovation andInternship related events. Amit was Chairman of IEEE Hyderabad section in 2020 and He was visiting Professor at SJB Research Foundation till 2020. He was awarded the prestigious IEEE MGA Achievement award in 2020 for the outstanding contributions at Section, Council and Region levels. He was member of 2021-2022IEEE MGA Nominations and Appointments committee. He is winner of 2020 IEEE MGA Achievement award, 2020 IEEE India council outstanding volunteer award and 2022 IEEE Region 10 Outstanding Volunteer Award.Currently Amit is Chairman of IEEE Region 10 Section Chapter committee, Chair of Conference organisation Integrity Committee (COI) of IEEE Conferences committee, Member if IEEE Technical Program Integrity Committee (TPIC), Chairman of Conferences Committee of IEEE Hyderabad section and Immediate past Chairman of IEEE Sensors Council, IEEE Hyderabad section.
