Dr. Amresh Srivastava is a psychiatrist and Professor Emeritus at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. He is also an adjunct scientist at the Lawson Health Research Institute and a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatry (UK), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the American Psychiatric Association. He has over 40 years of experience in clinical, academic, and administrative positions in India, UK, and Canada, working with various organizations in the field of mental health education, service delivery and development, research, and private practice.Dr. Srivastava’s main areas of interest include suicide prevention, early intervention, and complex mental disorders. He has published extensively on these topics, as well as on knowledge translation and mental health literature for people. He has served as an editor, reviewer, and member of the editorial board of several psychiatric journals and books.
