Provided therapeutic services to children and teenagers that are abuse victims, sex-offenders, incest victims, drug abusers, have alcoholic or drug-dependent parents, and first time juvenile offenders. Worked as a team member with county social services, schools, counselors, psychologists and the court system.

Responsibilities included encouraging development of independent functioning and age-appropriate self-help skills, facilitating the use of language, and fostering responsibility, self-regulation, and self-control.

Provided support services to persons with mental and physical challenges by implementing each resident’s individual service plan and through assisting, coaching, teaching and monitoring residents in activities of daily living and psychosocial functioning.
