Annat is leading the implementation of the Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Crop Post-Harvest Management and Cold Chain, Haryana. This is the joint initiative of the Government of Haryana, UNEP, United Kingdom government, University of Birmingham led consortium of universities, private sector partners, among others.Anant is managing the government relations, stakeholders, development of CoE plans, procurement plans, resource management, among others. He is supervising the trainings (foundation courses, train the trainer, executive programs, academic exchange, etc.) in India closely collaborating with Cranfield University and others.He is closely collaborating with sister CoE i.e. Africa Centre of Excellence and Sustainable Cooling (ACES), Kigali, Rwanda.

Bringing industry knowledge to the education curriculum of public and private universities. I am supporting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra Jammu in drafting their syllabus for M.Tech. Energy.

Anant developed the National Green Cooling Programme for Vietnam in close coordination with government, local project partner and others.He managed the MEPS for Ethiopia programme. Provided support for the organization of the side-event to COP28 that included agenda preparation, coordinating with local partners, speakers and funders among others.

Anant's main responsibilities were to prepare solid ground and support two light house cities in mitigating climate change and adapting to the extreme heat. These measures were urban heat island effect (UHIE), passive building design, super-efficient cooling equipment deployment, nature-based solutions. The work will lead to the achieving the objectives of India Cooling Action Plan and building codes in new and existing built environment through development of innovative business models.The outcome of his work is leading to policy, guidelines and training of trainers, policy makers and decision makers.Anant supported in developing strategies on EE interventions in private city being developed by one of the largest real estate developer in achieving their net-zero 2035 targets.

Anant ensured smooth running of the Chief Executive Officer’s office through measuring progress, monitoring processes, reporting, feedback mechanism and time-based deliveries.He is a member of the newly established Corporate Monitoring Group.

Anant has successfully led Managing Director’s office and headed the Corporate Planning division which maintained seamless communication with the line ministry and key agencies among others.

Anant has managed several programmes and have conducted stakeholder meetings to refine and develop programmes. He has developed dashboards, monitoring system (remote, real time and outcome oriented), client and customer management among others.Anant has ensured compliance of programmes and activities to the national and multilateral agencies DLIs.He lead programmes such as Trigeneration, Super Efficient Air Conditioner, Building Energy Efficiency, Chiller, Indo Israel, etc.) and collaborated with international agencies.

As a Senior Advisor to the ASEAN-German Energy Programme (AGEP) my job was to advise on the following activities among others:Energy Efficiency Green Building Code - minimum technical requirement, technical and policy recommendation; Energy Efficiency Financing - best practices and EE financing guidelines.Renewable Energy: Mapping of R&D on RE technologies and policies in the ASEAN.Coordinating with other Energy Programmes within GIZ viz. LCORE, EnDev, Green Chillers, XPLORE among others.Managing the web based programme monitoring system as an administrator and complying the requirements of the programme.AGEP is a regional project jointly implemented by ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) and GIZ and covers 10 ASEAN member states.

Led the development of guidelines drafting, liaising with Renewable Energy Sub Sector Network (RE-SSN) and stakeholder engagement.

Anant conducted trainings on a few select topics on behalf of the European Energy Manager (EUREM) programme hosted by AHK Indian. Some courses were solar thermal technologies and storages, heat recovery technologies, cogeneration and trigeneration, etc. The trainees were the managers and engineers from the industries such as hotels, building owners, waste heat recovery solution providers, etc.

Anant managed several projects in the Indo-German Energy Programme (IGEN) of GIZ. He independently implemented the first International Climate Initiative (IKI) project Trigeneration at Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (JPNATC), All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS). His other assignments with GIZ India were as below:1. Project Manager of Indo-German Trigen project2. Project Manager of Solar Thermal Air Heating in Leh, Ladakh3. Industrial Solar Water Heating system installation at pharmaceutical company4. Sector study to assess feasibility of Solar thermal and PV in industrial sector5. Feasibility studies at Agro-malls, bulk milk cooling sites in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana6. He was engaged with other interesting projects such as IndiaOne (Scheffler Dish at Brahma Kumari's), Solar PV at DMRC, German Embassy New Delhi, and othersClose interactions with equipment manufacturers (Arun Dish, Forbes Solar, Taylormade solutions, IBC Solar, School solar, etc.), solution providers (Mirroxx, ILK Dresden, Fraunhofer ISE, etc.) and industries (textile, Pharma, pulp and paper, etc.)

PAnant was employed by the project funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India.
