Management of all Multiclient products and Geoscience consulting from the Leeds office, with the principal focus being on Globe, Getech’s flagship geoscience knowledgebase. Globe is an ArcGIS based, fully integrated, multi-disciplinary global knowledgebase used both by New Ventures teams, and increasingly, Asset teams. The principal aspects of this role consist of:• Overall management of annual Globe delivery, workflows, budget and resources. Leadership, management and motivation of 18+ staff.• Technical oversight and Q/C of Globe content.• Liaison with clients to identify industry and market trends to deliver attractive and relevant new technical content. Chair annual Globe User Group Meetings in Houston and London.• Client support in problem resolution by development of best practices and generating workflows.• Delivery of the Getech technical strategic plan and production of a multi-year roadmap.• New client and business development and provision of principal technical support in sales meetings.• Integration with other business units within Getech to develop Multiclient products, particularly in terms of geospatial offerings. • Establish and maintain research and development collaborations with Universities and third parties to generate new products and enhance existing content/client usability.• Continued development of training courses and seminars. Principal trainer and chief geoscientist.• Identification through detailed market analysis of new areas and/or technical content for multiclient Regional Reports.• Generation of proposals and tenders for new proprietary geoscience work. Project planning and management. To date, whilst in this role, all existing Globe clients have renewed subscriptions (several on multi-year plans) and a number of new clients have been added. Proprietary contracts have also been awarded, with successful technical delivery and financial performance.

Manager of the Regional Reports component of Multiclient Business Unit as well as technical support for the Globe project. Principal technical support for sales team, as well as liaison/support for Globe clients. Managed client input to develop technical content and plan for Globe 2018 Phase, resulting in all clients renewing subscriptions. Developed Introductory and Advanced training courses for Globe.

Management of the Commissions Business Unit. Significant growth of the Commissions BU required the earlier Multiclient aspect to be separated off. During this period, I also undertook the Project Manager role on the Angolan Basins Project, the principal elements being:• 18 month, US$5 Million+ proprietary project for a National Oil Company. • Multidisciplinary investigation of the hydrocarbon potential of the Angolan onshore and offshore basins, integrating client’s seismic (2d and 3d), Aero-magnetic and well data with Getech’s own internal databases. • Planning and management of the project, reporting to client and the Getech board on technical and budget progress. • Technical lead and technical Q/C for whole project. • Identified requirements for, and managed technical input from external consultants. • Developed and implemented training program and technical project integration for several NOC staff in Leeds. • Chaired client progress and technical steering meetings in Leeds, and final project technical meeting in Luanda. Project was delivered on time, under budget and with available staff resources below that initially planned.

Manager of Multiclient and Commissions (Geoscience and G&M technical consulting) Business Unit. Continued development and management of new and updated Multiclient (non-Globe) reports. Generation of proposals for both Tender bids and direct client requests for proprietary work. Project manager and technical lead on numerous projects. Support to the sales team in generating new business leads.

Divisional Manager of the Multiclient and non-G&M Technical Consulting Business Unit. Inception, planning and management of multidisciplinary projects, including the first technical phases of Globe. Line management of 20+ staff. Lead Petroleum Geologist on several multiclient and proprietary reports, focused mainly on Africa, South America and Indian Sub-continent. Generation of marketing materials and technical sales support.

Generation of basin analysis and petroleum geology content for Basin Monitor product: Generation of stratigraphy, petroleum systems and play identification, mapping and description for basins in India, Middle East and Australia. Databasing in Iris21 Oracle system and MapInfo GIS system. Management of Tetbury Basin Research Team, reporting to Product and Group Directors. Management of a network of external consultants providing technical content to product. Provided geological support for Regional Teams and sales and marketing efforts.

Generation of basin analysis and petroleum geology content for Tellus Product: Generation of stratigraphy, petroleum systems and play identification, mapping and description for basins in South and Equatorial Atlantic, Sub-Andean region, Mediterranean and Central Europe and Far East. Databasing in Access and ArcView GIS system. Project management and member of Tellus training team from 1998 onwards.
