Having worked extensively in the print and television media and the corporate sector for 15+ years, I am now focused on development issues of mainstreaming the rural ecosystem towards a more empowered direction for the past four years. I promote inclusion of all communities specially in the Left Wing Extremism areas towards education and skilled vocations. I believe that skills training based on need based assessments provide a better chance for growth for many communities.I see women at the center of all work that I do. Woman empowerment is another area that I focus on and this includes family relations, community relations and financial empowerment.Hence I advocate extensively for understanding and spreading awareness on all issues across my working areas.I find it a practical solution to involve the corporate sector to take forward my issues as a part of their corporate social responsibility, since these issues have a long term sustainability. I have climbed some steps of success ladder, namely - Committee member of the sub sectoral committee in Hospitality and Tourism Skill Development Council of Government of Jharkhand Received a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs Left Wing Extremism Division that my suggestions on mainstreaming youth in naxal areas will be considered for further action by MoL&E (encl)Been part of the ILO Convention in Bangalore to discuss the rights of disabled people in India, as well as on the Committee for Industry Bodies in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Member of the General Body of the National Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (NRLPS) under the Ministry of Rural Development. GOI.
