The role of Vice Chairman - DAC is essentially advisory in nature, with specific day-to-day management functions and decision-making delegated to the President and the executive committee of IOIC-ICCI. The Indo-OIC Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry IOIC-ICCI has created the following business & industry sector-wise Committees, which shall discuss and advice to the President of IOIC-ICCI, and Executive Committee of IOIC-ICCI, to explores the various approaches of business & industry and economics of India and OIC Nations and other World, and then present to a plenary meeting of the Executive Committee draft resolutions and decisions for consideration.The President–IOIC-ICCI Prof. Dr. Mohammed Seraj ANSARI has expressed that the major objective of IOIC-ICCI is to promote OIC Nations and (57 + 5 + 1 = 63) Non-OIC Nations business, trade and economic relationship, and bilateral trade, investment and technology transfer, facilitates business collaborations, joint ventures, marketing tie-ups and strategic alliances through a set of proactive business-oriented initiative, and cultural exchanges.OIC Nations Trade Outlook 2016 According to the OIC annual report titled the COMCEC Trade Outlook 2016, Recent Economic Developments in the World and OIC Countries- Production, Growth and Employment -Global GDP – expressed in current USD and based on PPP – has witnessed an increasing trend over the period 2011-2015. OIC countries also witnessed an increasing trend in economic activity and their GDP increased from US$13.9 trillion in 2011 to US$ 17.1 trillion in 2015. As a group, the OIC countries produced 15.0% of the world total output and 26.1% of that of the developing countries in 2015. In current prices, the share of OIC countries in world total GDP is measured as only 8.6%. The average GDP per capita in OIC countries also increased from US$ 8,988 in 2011 to US$ 10,224 in 2015. The Indo Madagascar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a nonprofit Organization created to strengthen the trade and commercial relationship between both the countries: India and Madagascar.Based in India, its head office was inaugurated since 2004 and expanded, with its liaison office now in Madagascar. An equal number of Indian and Malagasy members bear the office of the Organization.Being one of the fastest growing countries in the world, India is a model of success and evolution that can inspire third world countries like Madagascar. Reciprocally, Madagascar is a source of raw materials and products that can be fully exploited in India, for both countries’ advantage. Hence, after sharing a rich and glorious past together, the main economic and political actors from both countries decided to launch this bridge that will, hopefully, be a concrete way to success for both.The Indo Madagascar Chamber of Commerce aims to be a strong asset for both countries’ business communities to settle a stable business. Thanks to our help and support, Indian companies will be able to set up a business in Madagascar. Once established here, the Indo Madagascar Chamber of Commerce will encourage exchange and promotion activities for the hosted business community, so as to keep it alive, grow and evolve constantly.Professional seminaries, conferences and workshops will take place at regular intervals. What is the purpose of this organization?The specific purpose of the organization as established for public and charitable purposes. Likewise, it created a unified front in sharing with private and governmental functions to problems affecting human rights, economics, social affairs, and the control and prevention, and trafficking of illegal drugs. Its secondary purpose is to assist domestic and worldwide government in humanitarian and peacekeeping operations. Both worldwide and locally, the IPC is coordinating and sharing the campaign against terrorism and deeply involved in community projects of law enforcement agencies.
