NAMI New Jersey is the state affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a private nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of families and individuals affected by mental illness through support, education, and advocacy. With the guidance of my preceptor, I was spearheading a project collecting personal experiences of families and individuals. I developed interview scripts, contacted NAMI volunteers, conducted phone interviews, and transcribed articles. My time at NAMI NJ shaped this project for future interns.

She + Sky is a wholesale clothing company based in Los Angeles. She + Sky aims to empower women and celebrate the female form by providing unique clothing. I attend the New York trade show for She + Sky. I sold $20,000+ in merchandise to customers. I handled customer transactions, greeted customers, created new customer accounts and gained customer service skills from this job.

Rutgers Telefund is a student-run on-campus call center that raises private donations for Rutgers University by contacting alumni, parents, faculty, and students. These donations are based on connections with alumni, faculty, and parents which help the advancement of Rutgers University. I raised $5,000+ by calling alumni, faculty, and students affiliated with Rutgers University. I gained a deeper understanding of various programs at Rutgers University and learned effective communication, adaptability, and empathy.
