Daniel currently provides capital formation, operations, and legal advisory to leading alternative investment managers.Previously, Daniel served as an Executive Director with the Private Funds Advisory Group at Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), a global independent investment bank, where he advised private fund sponsors on primary fundraises, tailored capital raises, and secondary transactions. Prior to Moelis, Daniel was a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP; his practice included M&A, fund formation, and secondary transactions. Daniel also has prior experience in M&A/Governance with Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR), hotel supply management/partnerships with Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE), and start-up development with OttoLikes.Daniel earned a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Corporate Finance & Investments from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, and a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.Daniel holds a Series 7 and 63 license and is admitted to practice law in New York (2016) and New Jersey (2016).
