Dr. Athena Staik is a relational coach and consultant in private practice, integrating the latest in cognitive neuroscience and intimacy studies in her work with individuals and couples. Her background includes working as a licensed marriage and family therapist, and teaching as an adjunct professor in the disciplines of psychology, family science and sociology, for over 12 years. WIth a Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy, and an MA and BA in psychology, her training is within a wide range of psychological models, with primary focus on several strengths-based schools of thought, to include experiential, narrative, family systems, solution-focused, dialectical behavior therapies.Dr. Staik is currently working with individuals and couples dealing with a wide range of issues, among others, addictive relating patterns, emotion regulation and reactivity, infidelity, codependency, and narcissistic abuse.
