As a leader of Digital Prototyping team, I was responsible for improving product performance through simulation-driven product design. I led multiple programs involving design and other cross-functional teams for successful execution. The core team focused on building physics-based Reduced-Order-Models (ROM) to evaluate performance in the minimum possible time. This helps the organization in much more focused and reduced physical prototype tests, thereby reducing costs considerably. In last few years, team provided numerous simulation-based-design solutions primarily for Refrigerated Display Cases, Rack systems, Pumps, Industrial valves and Packing cases for compressorsI was responsible for developing a strategic vision, resource management, career and salary planning etc. The work undertaken by the team translated into a multi-million dollar in savings for the business over the years. The team’s collective efforts led to numerous ideas worthy of IP protection for Dover.

Pune Area, India

As a technical manager, led a team of about 12 engineers to provide analysis solutions through CFD & Heat Transfer for multiple businesses of Eaton Corp. such as Electrical, Aerospace, Hydraulics & Automotive. The main responsibility in this role was to drive employe engagement through effective planning, coaching and mentoring. Another important aspect was to drive value addition through analysis with effective utilization of resources for improved return on investment for the business.

Pune Area, India

The prime objective was to interact with business leaders and engineering teams, understand business needs, prepare technology roadmaps, develop business cases, value propositions and IP strategies to provide technology differentiators for Eaton products with a focus on fluid flow and heat transfer. I got an opportunity to successfully suggest business multiple solutions addressing increased power demands for next-generation products leading to an invention disclosure that is filed as a patent later. I also obtained Green Belt Certification for Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) through a demonstration on a project titled “Pumped Phase-Change Cooling Technology for Medium Voltage Drive”
