During my experience in Intea d.d. as a Project Engineer I took part in various Industrial Automation job functions, namely as:• PLC programmer (Step7, TIA Portal)• HMI designer (WinCC, ABB 800xA) and• Commissioning Engineer (China, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina)As a part of a team, I was in charge with the following assignments:• Programming and simulation of control system software• Developing the corresponding HMI design• Commissioning and training programs for the customersBeside the practical experience I gained by working in different PLC programming environments, in this role I also honed the following skills:• cooperating inside of a team• making realistic estimations regarding the project deadlines• meticulous work on the software documentation• providing excellent customer service by maintaining direct correspondence and reflecting company's work ethos and policiesI was praised by my junior colleagues for my friendly and assistive approach whenever they needed help, and for my attention to details, problem solving, customer relations and English speaking skills by my seniors. During the on-site commissioning, I was often required to work abroad for a longer period of time. I learned to adapt to different working ethics, mentalities and overall working conditions, such as 60+ working hours weekly.What I gained most from the on-site work was the experience of working in a large international team where flexibility, respectfulness and thinking outside of the box was a daily challenge.

On this role as a student employee I was assigned to organize and digitize the results from various surveys in physical form (e.g. market research, product evaluation forms, etc.)I mainly used OpenText TeleForm forms processing software, as well as MS Excel and WarpIt.
