I am an Innovation facilitator identifying new ideas, connecting industry to commercially focused research or R&D and manufacturing capabilities in food, beverage and agrifood manufacturing for improved idea-to-market capabilities, cost base management and commercialisable solutions. Working across the whole agri-food value network I work with start-ups to multinationals and researchers to embed, manage and deliver successful NPD, sector leading research, cost reduction, and the idea-to-market process anywhere from seed in ground products and systems. From 2018-2022 I oversaw FIAL’s Project Fund to support 116 innovation projects with a total investment of $32.8M, resulting in over $110M of initial income an additional 560 jobs, with 35 businesses exporting for the first time.Supporting delivery of state and national research programs I have connected innovators and innovative companies to world class research delivering new, value added solutions for regional producers and manufacturers. I believe people are our greatest asset and I'm passionate about helping people deliver great innovation, research and increase the belief within our manufacturing sector that there is yet more we can achieve.
