I am registered dietitian with a professional path in nutrition education/higher education. I spent time practicing as a pediatric dietitian at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and realized I loved the art of teaching nutrition to others leading me to a career in higher education. In my higher education role, I taught Nutritional Biochemistry and Medical Nutrition Therapy, conducting lactation-based research, and serving in leadership roles including department chairperson. I am highly motivated, organized, and skilled at paying attention to details which has led to numerous opportunities to create, assess, and refine curriculum. I served on the NH Breastfeeding Task Force as co-chair for the child care award subcommittee and am currently a board member with the Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition. I enjoy discovering new recipes for how to make the most of my community supported agriculture farm share all throughout the year, and when not in the kitchen, I can be found enjoying the outdoors.
