I'm a regeneration expert with a PhD in creative urban regeneration and I have over 25 yrs experience working across the UK for a wide range of clients, including: Welsh and local Government and their devolved bodies, universities and further education institutions, housing associations, business improvement districts, purpose driven businesses, social businesses, third sector umbrella bodies, charities, and people in communities. I founded and run Urban Foundry - a creative regeneration agency and certified BCorp. I also founded and am Director of Swansea Bay Street Markets, HQ Urban Kitchen, and PopUp Wales social enterprises.I'm an experienced advisor, speaker and facilitator - I deliver workshops, training, and consultancy on a range of issues. I’ve also founded and served on the boards of social businesses and charities, for various strategic partnerships, and on various funding panels.Additionally, I’m a Fellow of the RSA, a Member of the Market Research Society.If you're working with young people in Wales I am also a Big Ideas Wales role model for Welsh Government and can deliver short talks in schools/colleges/universities on purpose driven business.I am also Swansea University's Entrepreneur in residence.I believe in business as a force for good - I created Urban Foundry in 2004 as a purpose-driven company. It was the first certified #BCorp in our home town of Swansea and amongst the first in Wales to gain the accreditation. I was also a Commissioner for the Welsh Government’s Cooperatives and Mutuals Commission.Our company is about forging great ideas that change the world for the better - combining creative thinking, urban regeneration theory and a strong pragmatic approach.
