Dr. Beth Haney, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP, FAAN is former Mayor and Councilwoman Mayor of Yorba Linda, doctor of nursing practice & a nationally certified family nurse practitioner specializing in health policy, cosmetic dermatology treatments, skincare, disease prevention, health promotion & wellness. She currently serves on the governing board of Placentia-Linda Hospital as Chairman.Beth is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.Dr. Haney is a member of the American Association for Nurse Practitioners Health Policy Committee and was Chair of the 2022 and 2023 AANP Health Policy Conference and the Southern California State Liaison.Dr. Haney is currently faculty at USC teaching health policy and is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at UCI, who taught from 2010 until 2018 Women's Health, Advanced Physical Assessment, Advanced Practice Policy, & Clinical Procedures classes in the nurse practitioner program and currently precepts UCI NP students. Dr. Haney was awarded UCI Faculty of the Year 2013 by her students. In addition, she offered the first ever University of California aesthetic courses for nursing & medical professionals through UCI Distance Learning. Dr. Haney served on the California Association for Nurse Practitioners as president & held leadership positions for over a decade. She founded Luxe Aesthetic Center in Yorba Linda, CA in 2006 & was involved in the development of a high speed laser hair removal device for Lumenis Inc., a medical laser company. She is the author of the book "Be You-T-Full: Looking your Best With Botox, Lasers, and other Magical Treatments" to walk people through the maze of cosmetic dermatology options & has contributed 2 chapters in a dermatology nursing textbook and to Medical Imaging in Aesthetic Procedures.
