Dr. Beth Meyerson is a Professor in the College of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine at University of Arizona where she directs the Harm Reduction Research Lab. She is also the Policy Director for the Comprehensive Center for Pain and Addiction at the University of Arizona. Dr. Meyerson is faculty with the UArizona Institute for LGBT Studies.Prior to coming to University of Arizona in 2019, Dr. Meyerson was the Co-Director of the Rural Center for AIDS/STD Prevention at Indiana University and Bicentennial Professor in Health Policy & Management at Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington. Prior to that, she was the president of Policy Resource Group, LLC; a research consulting firm specializing in health policy and strategy with domestic and international emphases. Dr. Meyerson’s work is informed by Public Health Service in state government, private and non-profit sectors.Specialties: Harm reduction and sexual health focusing on systems and policy.
